\nOn October 3, within the EU funded MyWay \u2013 Make It Work for Youth project, ASTRA organized a roundtable discussion \u201cLabor Exploitation, Trafficking in Human Beings and Youth in Serbia\u201d. On that occasion, young researchers presented the results of the analysis of legal and institutional framework in combating trafficking in human beings for the purpose of labor exploitation and the analysis of attitudes and needs of young people in the area of employment and labor in our country and their tendency to accept suspicious job offers. The researches were conducted by young researchers under the mentorship of Professor Ljubinka Kovacevic, Belgrade University Law School, Professor Mario Reljanovic, Union University Law School (currently Institute for Comparative Law) and professor Milutin Petrovic from the Department for Creative Productions, FIFA. After the presentation of the results, participants \u2013 representative of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Issues, Market Inspection, National Employment Service, Employers\u2019 Association, ILO, Atina association and others \u2013 had the opportunity to ask questions and share their opinions and experiences. The discussion sought to observe the problem of trafficking in human beings and labor exploitation in a broader social context, that is, in the context of overall environment which, due to economic pressure, legal and institutional gaps, and other factors, makes exploitation possible.<\/span><\/p>\n
