About 700 workers from BiH, Serbia and Northern Macedonia were most severely exploited working on construction capital state facilities in Baku (Azerbaijan), 2007-2009. The story follows the case of an exploited worker, Seudin Zoletic, who is seeking justice in the European Court of Human Rights. The film was produced by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.occrp.org\/en\/slaves-to-progress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OCCRP<\/a> (Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project), and it&#8217;s based on ASTRA&#8217;s report on this case.<\/p>\n<p>Al Jazeera&#8217;s original news, including the testimonials of the workers, a description of the network of exploiters, and a link to the documentary, can be found<a href=\"http:\/\/balkans.aljazeera.net\/vijesti\/izgradnja-bakua-ropstvo-u-srcu-azerbejdzana-dokumentarni-film-na-ajb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong> HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ADDITION:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has prosecuted Bozo Vucenovic, Rad Ljubicic, Safet Turanovic, Rasim Turanovic, Zoran Dmitrovic, Zoran Kalajdzic, Nedeljko Vucenovic, and Miroslav Vucenovic on charges of the criminal offense of Organized Crime and Human Trafficking.
