Marija Andjelković, CEO of ASTRA, was a guest lecturer at the Johns Hopkins SAIS Faculty with the topic “Trafficking in Human Beings – Strategic jurisprudence in anti-trafficking advocacy”.
Judicial Proceedings in order to advocate the fight against human trafficking. Working on concrete case studies from ASTRA’s practice, students had the opportunity to see all the possibilities of action of a non-governmental organization in the field of victim support and advocacy of combating human trafficking. During the discussion, many questions were raised about obstacles in the application of positive national and international legislation in these cases.
